St. George Cathedral in Beirut

In the Byzantine era, there was a cathedral in the center of Beirut, known as the "Onstassi" built by the Bishop of Beirut Eustathius (Eustache), by decision of the Byzantine Emperor Theodosius II, near the Faculty of Law, founded by Justinian. The texts of that era has revealed that law students in Beirut were praying in the "Church of the Resurrection"
